opening lines of communication

I finally plucked up the courage and just confronted middle (17) about the adult GIDS letter. She didn't even know about it. She's angry with me now for finding out. Slammed the car door. Told her we have to talk about it more and we want her to watch a documentary. I am thinking Do No Harm.

We have to be able to talk to her about this. It is so vitally important that she has a greater understanding about all of it. She truly believes testosterone is going to make her better. She barely responded to me and so we couldn't really have a proper conversation.

This is so damn hard.

She's determined to forge ahead without our input. I know she doesn't want to hear what we have to say. This could potentially push her further down this ideological hell hole but I need to know I did everything possible to help her understand more. 

It's agonising living under this ideology hammer never knowing when it will finally fall for my family and what damage will happen to my two wee girlies. 😞
